How does a Conscious Connected Breathwork session look?

A Conscious Connected Breathwork session with Lisa usually starts with a general discussion about your background, wellbeing, life history and any current issues you face. Breathwork and the breathing style are usually explained and then we identify your intention for the session.

Following this, the client normally transitions to lying on a mat on the floor (or in some cases sitting upright, e.g. if pregnant). The practitioner then takes the client through a short relaxation process to encourage the body to let go of tension before the breathing session begins. After this the client will begin a conscious connected breathing pattern with guidance from the practitioner. Music is usually played in the background of the session. The breathwork component is followed by an integration and a post-breathe debrief. An entire session, including intention setting and debrief typically spans approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Initial sessions can take 2.5-3 hours (including introduction and debrief).

Like other therapeutic practices, breathwork takes time. One session can provide powerful experiences for some people, but several breathwork sessions are recommended.

Small group breathwork sessions are also available.

In addition to connected breathwork therapy, Lisa also offers other one-on-one sessions and group workshops:

e.g. breathing awareness and meditation guidance sessions; energy work; and creative/play workshops.

Fees for these sessions are currently: $75 an hour (concession rates also available)
